I have a 121" nytro and I am having the Van Amburg rear heat exchanger put in my sled with the side and rear cooler. Would this create enough cooling to remove the radiator like some are with the XTX models, or is there just not enough cooling on a shorty exchanger to pull this off?

good to know... Everyone talks about weight on these and didn't know if one overcomes the other in cooling etc

Have you stretched your sled? Last time I checked they only made a cooler that would fit an XTX...I'd keep the rad regardless...but someone has a rad delete kit, MPI I think.

Nope they just came out with a 121 kit for $350 + shipping. I believe they also have the front removal kit also. Mpi won't have their 121 kit for a few months I hear.

All the guys that are talking about the xtx weightloss are off trail riders. The sleds run so much hotter on the trails vs powder riding.

Oh heck ya they do! And this is a boosted application also. Cool is the game. I do like that this cooler has a small section in the back to help eliminate that slug of ice on the protectors

I personally would not buy anything that says VE on it. Their products are some of the worst quality I have seen. I cant believe someone would put their name on it.

I have their delete kit on my MTX, thats the last VE product I'll own. This along with seeing tunnels and other products of theirs puts them in second place behind BDX for my least favorite aftermarket company's.

I have not seen the MPI kit first hand but I would be looking that direction if they are coming out with a shorty kit.

Now that I see Roest's thread, I would probably look at that first. It is a issues I'm glad to see people finaly doing something about!

Well its in ulmers hands now to install. We shall see how it goes. He is installing everything this time start to finish
