Anyone with an '05 Vector that had straight coolant from the dealer? I'm worried after reading several posts about some sleds being delivered with 100% antifreeze istead of the 60/40 mix. I'm going on a trip 1/15-20 and don't want any overheating issues. I suppose I should just check my concentration but it seems I shouldn't have to do this on a new sled.
O put about 75/25 in mine.I know alot of guys that run 100% with no problems.

100% coolant is not good for aluminum. Apparently coolant has a higher acidity value and cutting it with water will neutralize this level somewhat. Long term effects could cause the aluminum to corrode/erode.
Water also has a higher heat transfer ratio, which is what you want, resulting in lower engine temps. A cooler running engine will outlast a hot engine.
The antifreeze in your system is there to prevent the pipes, rad, and exchangers from freezing. If water didn't freeze, we wouldn't need the coolant.
