Hi all! Need some advice. My 13 year old daughter wants her own sled. I found a vector for her, but not sure if it's for her? Any advice on what would be a good sled for her would be helpful. She rides my nytro with no problems. She is well knowledge on riding. I have a video but don't know how to post it. Also we only ride trails.

the vector is a nice sled its not as responsive as the nytro good one for someone to grow into the sled is capable of 100 mph in good conditions, but its up to the parent to decide if their child is responsible/capable of that responsibility or have the ability

The vector is a heavier unit. How about a phazer.

I previously owned a vector for my wife. Although the ergos were comfortable for her, the sled can be intimidating because of its weight. When that mass starts going in the wrong direction ( ie sliding off the side of a trail) it takes an aggressive person to get it righted. Overall it's a great sled. You can best asses if your daughter is comfortable operating the equipment. Good luck.

If she a capable rider and it's trail only then I would say yes. My daughters have driven a Vector Since 09 . What SEVEY posted about being a heavy sled is correct and deep snow is not it's friend. If you go this way I can tell you what my girls like. Big windshield, they tried a short one and all of them asked for something much bigger. studs for safety and a good pair of ski's like SLT because they turn easy and hold a line. It's a great sled and very dependable and if your with them all the time you should have no worries about getting them unstuck!
