Vector recalls/service bulletins

My dealer did the clutch fix last spring. I called the service manager about the CDI box and jackshaft this morning...he tells me my serial number is indeed in the range for CDI replacement but he knew nothing and could find nothing on the jackshaft/bearing.

Anybody know the serial number range on the jackshaft/bearing service bulletin?

I think your dealer should at least know about the trouble and be able to tell you if your unit is affect or not with certitude. Maybe your dealer had not had their fall seminar yet ...

I recommend you to try again in few weeks just to be sure you get the right information..

I did had this failure last winter and it really suck when that happen in the middle of nowhere
