05 Vector pivot arm broke. It looks like the weld broke on the lower pivot first then twisted on the cross tube between the rails until it broke. The top pivot tube is reinforced with gussets but the bottom has none. I thought about replacing it with new but I'm afraid it'll just brake again. Does anyone know of an update? I removed mine, repaired it and then welded a reinforcement strap (3/4"x1/8' flat stock) around the lower pivot tube and up the arms to strengthen the joint. I think this will work.

There are other threads about this. I found all the welds to be very poor and had my complete rear skid rewelded and no problems in 18000 kms
