Those that run k&n filters, do you run vents in the nose of the sled to get fresh air into the filters? I'm kinda worried about snow but if I get a good prefilter on the vent it can't be too bad.

Yeah you can run the pre filter material behind the vent, and then Ulmers kit comes with the prefilter material that slides over the filters as well.

With a stock air box I didn't see much benefit to running a hood vent because of where the air box gets the air from. But since the filters now draw air from everywhere I thought this may help.
