My Dad has a 2008 Venture GT (144" track, stock skis, no studs) that I maintain for him.
What size carbide skegs should I get for him?
4", 6", single, duallies?
Thanks.

Bergstrom triples all the way.
Just call Scott he'll advise you for your set up. They don't come any better than Scott.

8" Woody's Doolies. No darting and predictable steering all the time.

Bergstrom Triple Points
Woody's Doolies
Duece Bars

Wouldn't it be nice if one could get a demo set to try instead of listening to the shouting of SNOW TRACKERS OR YOU'RE AN IDIOT....or SCOTT BERGSTROM IS THE GOD OF WEARBARS!

With a 136 and no studs I had 6" Bergstrom Triple Points, still darted some even with the shims, went to 6" woody's doolies no problems thereafter. 6" should be plenty with no studs.
Or you could buy these tuners:

I am leaning towards the stock skis with 6" Woody's Doolies for the Venture GT 144.
I have tried the Bergstrom 6" on our Ski-Doos with Pilot Skis, they are nice but I usually 6" standard Woody's on the Ski-Doos ... no complaints on those and they are cheap and readily available from the Ski-Doo dealer 1.5 miles from my house.

With a 144 you might want to think about 8"......but that's me! I'm running 6" on my 136.
