Vertical steering template

I'm installing vertical steering on my SW and need a template for cutting the plastics in front of the gas tank. I bought this used and can't find instructions anywhere.

Would like to drill a circular hole so it looks more OEM. Where would you put the centre of a hole saw?

I didn’t do that hack I bought the sled that way

With the two measurements you should be able to find a centre for a round hole

Can't really tell from the angle. Could you measure the distance viewed from the side? That would be really helpful

I think if you only want to drill out a circle it’s going to be fairly large to get the steering post over it. Hope these pics help

Thanks! Looks like I need to drill a ~30mm hole, or just make a smaller extended circle.
