I started getting a vibration in my handlebars this weekend, it's an 04 warrior, it's also louder than usuall, you can barely hear the exhaust out the tailpipes, could this be the donuts finally giving out, or should I be looking a front drive bearings?.
That's just my guess, if this happens to be common, can You point me in the right direction? And what to look for?

have you checked the belt? mine lost a chunk off of the top yesterday and it was shaking like heck on the lake. i have burnt a belt in 2 places and had the same thing happen.

Vibration Is buzzing on the floorboards slightly and up through the bars, what would explain the noise over the exhaust !

Could be both!
I would check the doughnuts and the X pipe connection for the noise and the belt for the vibration.

all good things to check. could also be the jackshaft bearing.

belt is like new, jackshaft bearing seems tight, how can I check drive bearing efficiently? is sounds almost like a tight track, but it isn't.

How many miles on the drive shaft? I haven't had one go but my buddy has and the symptoms sound very similar. He says it creates quite a mess when it does. He had to replace Both driveshaft bearings and the track. I'm going to change mine out at the end of the season because I put just about 6000 miles on it and who knows how many we're on it before I got (16,765 miles now). Cheap insurance.

pull the drive axle out. i will bet the bearing cage has failed in the chain case. kind of felt like that on my war when it let go 3 days before a ty ride. glad i had shredded a track lug and had it out to replace it.

Defects are often hard to visually detect in a belt. I pulled my hair out all weekend over vibration in floorboards and bars. Was a 2013 with 1800 miles. Finally just put new belt on it sled was silky smooth again.

I would start with a brand new belt before tearing into anything.

All I could find wrong was my Sliders where worn down to the aluminum at the front of the rail, luckily I didn't drive far and damage the rail.
