Lost an internal seal in my chain case that resulted in $1342 in repair. Within 100 miles it would not stay in reverse. The linkage needed to be adjusted. Within 200 miles of repair I started to have a vibration in the floor boards. The dealer that did the repair(warranty) says that it is the bushing in the rear suspension. That was their second diagnosis. The first one was that all of the wheel bearings where bad in the rear suspension. Only problem is that I have recently(after the chain case was repaired) replaced 7 of the 11 wheels in the rear suspension so I know it is not a wheel bearing issue. I think they are feeding me a line but was wondering if this has been a common problem. My sled is an 07 attak with just under 4000 miles on it. I do ride hard but the vibration does not feel like a couple of bad bushing to me. I feels more like a jackshaft bushing or something in the chain case. Any thoughts?

Check the clutch side driveshaft bearing below the secondary. If it is just dry you can peal the seal and pack some grease in it.

Also check the bearing behind the secondary. If you haven't changed that bearing, I would look there as well.

Check your track alignment.
The alignment on my 08 LTX is off slightly, and the floorboards vibrate over 60mph. I had to loosen the track to remove a tunnel bag, which fell off and got stuck between the track and tunnel. I didn't want to hold up the group any longer, so I drove home without realigning the track. On my previous sled with an M10, a shock reservoir bracket on the skid came loose and started rubbing on the track. That caused the floorboards to vibrate too.

Firstly, check your drivebelt. It may be cracked and/or missing cogs. Swap it out with a new one and see if the vibration is still there.

Yeah I checked the allignment and it is good. I will check the bearings too. I love my Yamaha but I have had a ton of problems with this sled. I have had a TPS go out at 400 miles which killed the plugs $600, exhaust gaskets $500, both floor board heat exchangers $1200, broken pivot arm and stabilzer rod $500, complete chain case $1342, and now this. Thank go I bought the extended warranty. I know that I am kinda hard on stuff but I think it should hold up a little better.
