I know this topic has been covered already, but it's almost the end of the season (I knows it sucks), just looking for input on how the Gear swap made any performance gains or lack thereof, low, mid, top end power, speed ,
acceleration and fuel economy. Please list model (rtx, ltx, xtx, mtx), stock and modded gear's. Thanks in advance

I have the LTX se 2014 with 21/41 gear swap. Last week I rode with 2 Doos 2013 800 etec short track. I feel I lost a little on the bottom but it pulls hard all the way to 95. We raced from a dead stop and surprisingly enough we were dead locked all the way to 85 mph on a flat groomed trail. Yes I am modded a little and his Doo is heavily studded and a stiffer primary spring. So yes I am very happy with the gear change. I don't know my fuel mileage but every time mine and a 2016 doo etec blizzard 600 fueled up we were within a half/gallon of each other
I would do it again. Sled is way more consistent clutching and speed wise. Have no problem running right with 800 cat even on launch.

I am considering on changing to 21-41 also this spring when I will be servicing my chain case, mine pulls very hard off the line up to 85 with the few mods that I have.

25/45 but remember I am not stock. I like that I no longer have to worry about using the whole clutch. Did it effect acceleration? I am sure it did but my sled is not a drag race sled so mildly picked and 1.25 track with almost 8000mi on it. So it spins but it spins very fast and launches harder than ever! Love lining up with others. So far VERY happy with results.

Top speed 120 mph on the speedo.
Pulls really hard from 20 -100 mph.

Which sled do you prefer in a rough trail condition?..I love my viper, but I think a 800 pro s might be better for my type of riding. Do you prefer the riding position over the vipers? I think i would be money ahead with the pro s over turboing my 2015 ltx se. Your input on your pro s would be appreciated.

I like both sleds and have a super hard time deciding which to ride. the one thing I do wanna try is the 1.6 track on the viper. I have never rode an ltx viper and im betting its a bit more trail friendly than my xtx-le. All I know is the 2 sleds ive ridden..not sure im the best to answer your question
