Hey all,
Looking for some advice.
I have a 02 Viper with just over 10,000 miles. Other than the reeds being replaced at 8500 miles I have never touched the motor. I am planning on rebuilding the motor and replacing the Pistons, Rings, Wrist Pins, Wrist pin bearings and the Cir Clips.
Wondering about the water pump. Should I change it? How hard is it to replace? Any tricks to know about?
I also heard with the Nikasil cylinders I don't need to hone it out for the new rings to properly seat. Is this correct?
Any other part of the motor to be concerned about?
Thanks,
-J

Why are you rebuilding? Is it fried or low compression? Water pump is really simple, no need to mess with it unless it doesn't pump water.
