Having fun on a undisclosed lake in Norther Wisconsin. A good ole fashioned run what yah brung free for all with about 75 sleds. Conditions were perfect this morning, 5 degrees and really hard packed snow. Top speed on the gun is 103 and through the first round of 5 runs without breaking a sweat including 2 runs against smack talking 800 poos. Next run is Doo 800R, will try to get video up later of how this one turns out.

Best I got yesterday was 103mph here. Too much loose snow and it wont pack.

The snow here is almost like concrete that is just setting up. We need to talk gearing. Went to 41 and trying to figure this out. Both poos had 2 lengths on me at 500 ft, at 750 side by side, and by 1,000 I was pulling lengths. The 800 Poo is quick but I was expecting to be faster out to 750 and trying to hold on out to 1300.

Wow that surprises me. I am usually way ahead till 80mph and then the 2st will get me if enough room. You sure they were stock? If really good traction I guess they might be faster short distance but I cant remember last time I didnt spin alot and them also. You were 24-50 right?

Buddy I rode with last year had a 800 ProS 2016. Totalled it so not running him this year. I remember the only way I beat him was using the stutter. It was 3 losses without and 3 wins with it. His ProS was stock on snow railroad grade. So different than the lake your running since plenty of room to go by if in snowdust or roost. You definitly need to figure out the launch and low end or they will go by. If I remember right on top speed runs the Poo ran about 3-4mph faster than mine on top in snow gps. 850 Doo forget it. If there is room even with a good launch they are going by.

I thought about that, maybe the poos didn't get the memo that we were running out past 660 ft. If they threw a lower gear in that would explain why I am driving around them at 750 to 1000.

I did hear that the XCR Poo is fast to 70-80 and thats it. So maybe depends on model.

Nope, we put in a Hyvo 25/48. Really like the 65 to 100 performance with my setup. Recall is consistently at 9070 to 9100 now. Loosing a little at the top but pulling really hard until it hits the wall.

Overall I ran well today and was in the last 10 standing before being eaten alive by an Indy 650.
