Vermont is setting a Nov record for low/no snow. Previous record 7" in 1964. This year 1/2".
The local cat dealer is loaded with new models. He still has some left from last year. That’s gotta be tough.
I'm just worried that the state will not get enough registrations to justify supporting the trail system. That would REALLY SUCK!
Last year the state reported that registrations had dropped from 46K to 28K.

Yup, we're hurting bad. This is 3 years in a row with no snow. I've lived here all 35 years of my life and I can NEVER remember a winter like the last 2 years have been. Crazy. I gotta move to freakin Alaska to snowmobile I guess!!!!

NY is in the same shape. The only thing is our trails don't open until after hunting season. I think it ends Dec 9th up north. Dec 19th in the southern zone

Depending on the exact track of the low pressure center... and the
strength of cold air that is able to move into the north country
preceding the low... the potential exists for a second round of
precipitation... with rain likely mixing with and changing to snow
before ending. The changeover would occur first across the higher
elevations of the northern Adirondacks... and gradually at lower
elevations by late Friday afternoon or Friday evening. While it/S
too early to predict exact snow accumulations... several inches of
snow are possible across the region... especially in the higher
elevations... based on present indications.
Friday predictions,,we will see as per weather undergrond

Have faith. Keep positive. Think (and pray for) snow. Trails don't open till the 16th. Still have 16 days to get some dumpage. See you guys on the trails, I ride out of Irasburg. Got 2 days out of my 2 TMAs last year but will still get them again this year, there's always QC.

I'm in Wolcott, and ride up your way all the time. We should get together this winter. I got a buddy that rides with us on an 05 Venture. Great sled!!

Maddogjeff is 100% right! Have faith. He will provide. We picked up a 5 inch base up in Newark Vt. on Saturday. I managed to put a few miles on the grooming sled clearing some down trees on the property trails. The snow was really blowing. If the Attaks were not at the dealer getting studded I would have took them out for a rip. The forecast looks promising for this week.
