WANT TO BUY A PHAZER BUT WHICH ONE!

Hey guys I think I want to add a Phazer to my yamaha garage. I currently ride and 03 rx1 with a 151 expert x and I love it. But this year im thinking of adding a phazer to the garage. I looked around and i think i want an rtx 136. Any years or models should i avoid? Any suggestions?

Any one ride an phazer and a bigger sled?

most models are the same just have different shock packages & colors. 07's were first year & will have the most updates needed done. as you get newer, yami has taken care of them.
i'd say look at a mtx also, upon your riding style.

i have a 136 gt & have it set up how i ride. my dad has a stock 05 vector (for now, 136 in the near future) & i've jumped on that once in awhile. power no comparison. rider positioning, ease of flicking it around, phaz wins.
i like both but prefer mine.

What's so special about the 09 over the 08? Want one for my wife.

Thnanks for the replies if I look at an older one what will need to be done and is 2500-3000 a good price for an 07 or 08. thanks

depends on the condition. mileage doesn't matter much but you can talk them down if it has a bunch.

you can have the vin # checked at a dealer to see what updates have been done.
other than that it's preference. close tunnel hole(s), low snow wheels, track helps, set up suspension how you ride.

fyi, keep in mind if you want reverse, the base models don't have it.

We have an 07 FX and i love that little sled, as long as the updates get done, they are a good buy. When we ride the trails around home in northern MI, i almost prefer to ride the little phazer....

Love the wifes 09RTX... orange and black... around my area dont seem to see any other ones... the MTX had the same colors too... love the orange
