Warranty Question

I recently bought an '06 RS NYtro ER, and it still has 2 years left on the extended warranty. My question is, I'd like to put a different rear skid in it, non-yamaha, would this void the warranty?

Only the tunnel that you have to modify and add new mounting parts shoud be affected and not be under warranty anymore. Front end, engine and under the hood parts should not the affected and therefor still be under warranty.
