Anyone went from 23t to 24t on a warrior ?
if so, does it make a difference on acceleration ?
the point is I want to reduce the angle the chain has to do around the chain tensioner. I was looking for a high pitched noise from the chain case, so I removed the case cover and made the track spin. The sound is comming in fact from the chain. As I changed the chain tension, the sound also changed. The angle the chain has to do is very sharp. I rode rx1's and you don't have that sound or very slightly. (they have the 24t).
All the bearings in good condition, new oil and the required shims in place.

If you gear up with the long track it is going to cost ya,some getty up and go on the bottom, and off trail you might suffer, but if you do make sure you adjust the clutching,as you will now need a smaller finish say you had 43 go to a 40 because your rpms will drop off, with the bigger gear.

I went from a 24 to 23.I plan on replacing the chain to a 68 pitch to get less angle.Stock chain is 70 pitch.I cant say that i noticed any more or less noise from the chain case either way, allthough I do have ECP kit and have modded the muffler a little. Also the 05 ,s seem a little louder than the exhaust on 04 and 03 any how.The method i use for chain tension is finger tight then back off 1/4 turn and I use synthetic gear lube.

On polaris,s they have alot of chain case noise when braking and its caused from the tensioner itself.Thier was a certain gearing and chain combo we were using that eliminated the chain tensioner alltogether and no more noise.
