If I wanted to put these 136 Rails on a shorty, would it just be simple as replacing the slide rails with the longer ones and slapping the skid back on? Is there no relocation required where the skid mounts to the tunnel?

Warrior rails on a shortie would require different and relocated rear drop brackets.

There are several quailty rail extensions. I would recommend Tracks USA rail extensions with an MPI tunnel ext.

Or an M10 :D

Hey Power,

Thanks for the info. It's been an ongoing thing for me trying to decide what to do with my sled. I have looked at the M-10's, MPI's Extensions, Hartman Inc's extenstion and trying to decide what track to get.

Thanks again,

Hey Guys,

Here is what I ended up with....Hartman's 136 kit with shipping totals to about $400 Canadian. Also ordered one 9822 136 X 1.25 ripsaw from Royal distributing..with shipping costs about $900 Cdn.

Tom from Hartmans suggested I gear down 1 tooth for the 136..your thoughts on this?

I'll finally have my sled running for this winter. My next project is to do all I can to convert the 03 into and 05, we'll see how it goes I guess.
