Just thought I would let you guys know what I've recently done to my 04 warrior in case anyone else is thinking about it. I will be getting a new sled in the next couple of years but wanted something a little different then what my warrior was. So I gave Tom Hartman a call and ordered a 151" extension with 8 tooth wahl extrovert drivers and a 151" x 15" x 1.5" crossover track. I installed it about a month ago and must say the crossover track is top notch!! Great traction on hardpack and loose snow, no complaints and I believe it is an improvment over my old ripsaw which just would not cut it in loose or powder snow. With the longer track it made the sled quite the handful in the tight and twisty stuff!! Not nearly as agile as it had been, mind you I didn't change it to rail around corners. It was livable though and I was very pleased with it. Plus I only lost a little of my top end which was surprising.

About a week ago I decided to install a lightly used pro mountain 153" skid from an 08 nytro mtx. I have some pics of the install and will try to add them later if anyone is interested. I have never swapped skid's before let alone mock it up and measure and re-measure then drill my own holes and relocate my rear drop brakets and what not so this took some time. Once it was in I checked everything over and it fit's great. I have about 100km's on the new skid frame and it was just what the sled needed. It sucks up the bumps better then the old pro-action (which I had dialed in quite well for myself and didn't have any complaints about) and the sled handles as good as it did prior to extending it to 151" due to the tipped up rails on the new skid. The only thing I found with the new skid is that it doesn't seem to transfer weight as good as my old one (if you can believe that!) I was kind of looking forward to being able to lift the ski's a bit but I guess it is a heavy sled and that's just the way it is. Anyways this is all I have time to post but if anyone wants more info on my install or anything just let me know.
