What's the most weight you guys have put on the back of a 129?
I have friends that run the 15 L linq can on a 137 with no issues. That can+fuel is 32 lbs.
Could a 129 hold that weight? without causing tunnel damage. (assume normal riding and not ditch banging)
Planning a trip next season with a large fuel gap and need to carry as much fuel as possible. The plan would be to cover 100km and then dump the can in asap to lighten the load.

I also have the UNT single plate on the back.
Where did you run? Those are long days.
I have the stackable 21L Linq bag that goes on top of the 15 L gas can. I figure with fuel and bag it will top out at 47 lbs. That would be a fair bit of weight. Again - max weight would only be for an hour or two before you can dump the can.

We left capreol to kapuskasing first day then next day went to Cochran to Timmons and back down to Capreol. I didn’t even use the fuel caddy lol. I packed very light and put in my nephews sled so I just carried fuel. It was 30 lbs plus my factory small bag tools belt and straps also. You should be ok I carried that all day like I said I didn’t even use it we put over 207 Km in one stretch Capreol to mattagami. and filled up snd took 34 L so we were good. Second day just after 7 am and got to Capreol 4:30 pmI also have the UNT single plate on the back.
