Went Ridin Today

snowed 2 feet yesterday. The powder was about 6 inches deep, and then it was ice. We were the first ones on the trails.

I took a first timer up, and he did good actually. Only got stuck once and it was about a 15 minute dig to get him out. not bad at all. He had never been before and he had a blast on them. The person in the pics is him, not me. I rode the red one, he rode the blue one.

Went up to about 11k feet.

Where did you ride?

I was down by Telluride this weekend and saw a couple of guys riding Lizzard Head. I stopped and talked to them and they said there was still 8 feet of snow up there in some places, just getting thin by the road so access wasn't as good as past years.

tmk50, i went riding right near my house. South Fork. Its about 4 hours from you if you are in denver.

maybe next season you can come down here and we can go riding a couple days.

I spent 4 hours on my sled this weekend Washing, waxing, greasing, etc etc.... 6 more months till winter
