had a great day of riding until my last pass down the river lol
spent a lot of time racing today and im pretty happy with the ol RX
I raced my dad who has an 07 Attak and had him by 2 lengths
Raced my buddy with an F7 that has a pipes heads are shaved and ported studded clutched and claims to have 155 hp he only had me by half a sled length to 100.
and I raced a stock warrior and wow I blew it away lol
then my last race I took off front end came way up and i started going sideways so i let off and set the front end down then from about 20 or 30 hit it again and the front end came up then i heard a lound clunking noise. I let off took it easy for a few miles trying to get home and it sounded like the clunkcing went away so i started getting on it again and it came back louder and would barely move lol.
anyways I was only 2 miles from my house so I got it on the truck back home and took the chain case apart I kinda figured it was going to be a broken sprocket or something. When I got it apart didnt see anything so I took the gears off and seen the driove shaft was against the side of the hole. and the bearing was in peices.
Is this common for the bearing on these to blow apart like this? obviously i do race which isnt easy on anything.
Anyone know what the part number is for this bearing?

I would think the speedo side is more likely to go before the chaincase side.

lol it was def the chaincase side that went I have the peices to prove it lol. It should be fixed and ready to roll again today. Sucks I missed out on some ice races and radar runs yesterday. I took my old mans attak which is all stock and it was the third fastest sled there. There was a bunch of F7's and zr 800 and 900's which it beat all of them. It was only 3 mph slower than a modded 2006 Mach Z and a 2009 F1000. They ran 106 on radar and I was 104 not to bad I didnt think lol

If you aren't replacing the clutch side bearings you should give them a good greasing while you are working on it. Do a search- there is a good thread on how to do it.
