just bought an 06 nytro with 1000 miles on it, I'm sure by now you guys know all the must does and mods to upgrade these machines, what are your suggestions?

Send your skid shocks to Hygear or Pioneer for a re-valve it will be well worth it. Change your skis to Tuners or some other Dual keel ski.
I added a 13mm sway bar, RSI grip heaters, mid height Cobra windshield and Fett Bros. canister for the fox floats. Run your floats at 55psi and work from there. Stock the rear is going to bottom out easy on big bumps and kick your butt on stutters. Do the above and you will love the sled.
Welcome to TY these guys are great here...they have saved me hours of trial and error with set up info.

You should address the high slider wear, either by installing larger idler wheels, or trying the new Dupont sliders...maybe even both.

My sliders wore down to the line then lasted 2000 more miles so the wear is somewhat over blown, with that said I had to replace my idlers this fall so I added a set at the rear anyway. I used the Kimpex Pro's and they worked fine between the rails and track lugs...they're a little wider and larger than stock.
Good advise from Grimm as usual!!

Re-build and Re-valve is about $110 per shock including shipping at Hygear, I'm very happy with their work and quick turnaround. I have Kimpex Arrow dual runner skis with 6" standard bars on the outside and Snowtracker 6" on the inside. Very happy with this set up...I never feel like it's not going to go where I want through a corner.
