What guages should you run with a S/C Apex?

A boost gauge will let you see what you're at, but I don't know if I would even bother with that for a S/C as you won't be able to adjust it. I would definitely put it on for a turbo though. You can put lots of other gauges on but you will have a tough time watching them, LOL

It's still a good idea to know your boost pressure on a SC even though you can't adjust it on the fly. If you change pulley sizes you will want to know where your boost is at. As far as other gauges go, I recommend Wide band O2 meter, Oil temp gauge for SC and a engine water temp gauge. The more you know the better!

More gauges is OK but I was very disappointed with my A/F gauge last year and seeing as the Apex is EFI, there won't be much point. All I'm doing on my Apex this year is a larger boost gauge. That and the tach should do it for me, I'm getting old and have a tough time checking that little boost gauge with the throttle taped. The stock gauge will also show barometric pressure but is more of a little bonus they put in with the sensor for the EFI. Checking an array of gauges at full tilt has to be a challenge for anyone in the Mtns ?

boost gage is all I ran last year worked good, jetted off plugs wound up with richer jetting than most the others I talked to but it ran good all year, more fuel is more hp. if you can burn it. heard of a few of them burning a piston befor the year was out maybe reading plugs is better than an a/f gage I never could trust egt,s on my two strokes. like was said you can,t read much when you have a hand full in the mountains especially at 18lbs.
