Performance
Genesis 150FIâ„¢
The Genesis 150FI 4-cylinder engine is designed to build high horsepower and keep weight low. It cranks out about eight additional horsepower over its forebear, the Genesis Extreme™, to hit 150hp class performance. It also weighs 7 pounds less than the Genesis Extreme. The engine’s high-tech fuel injection system also delivers quick, crisp throttle response and as a bonus it runs significantly cleaner than most snowmobile engines on the market today.
Fuel injection system
More than just a bolt-on part of the Genesis 150FI, the fuel injection system required a full engine redesign. The low-pressure system uses an injector and butterfly valve throttle body to aid in delivering outrageously crisp throttle response, 150 horsepower production and class-leading fuel economy.
Radiator/rear cooling
In order to generate consistently-strong engine performance in any condition, all Genesis 150FI sleds feature a small radiator and electric fan assembly on the right hand side of the engine cab. The sled also has a small rear heat exchanger at the rear of the tunnel.
I looked through them all, and it is only the MT Sleds that have the Rear Exchanger, Even in the books they have it writen up funny.
"Radiator/Heat Exchanger" is showing on all the 4cyl's......Except the ATTAK GT Model it is showing ..."Radiator/ "
Can't find nothing except 4 the MT Sleds......I guess they are the only ones.

The 100% antifreeze issue must be the problem, when my stock RTX overheated on that 45degree day I poured a couple bottles of water in the coolant system that night to replace the lost fluid. The next day, the overheat light didn't come on again. What an easy fix!!
The supercharged apex could still use some extra cooling on those warm days. Does anyone know is the SRX exchanger fits and the hoses lineup?

I do believe it is the coolant and I think it is the dealers fault. Some monkey is just to lazy to pick up two bottles one antifreeze one water versus one. They don't even have even enough education to admit it when they are wrong.
I have ridden mine in almost 60 degrees and it never over heated with a 60\40 mix.

No you guys are running to close to the edge with the temperature. No wonder my Vector runs so good with the Apex's. Over 2000 trouble free--plenty warm hand warmers, No chain case problem, Idler wheels in great shape and BTW I run with a couple guys with Apex's and they can't believe that Vector runs that good. OH and lets not forget the over 20 MPG on the Vector. I came off of a ATTAK, best move for this season
SledFreak, I've ridden with Candyred. He's f'in crazy if you ask me. Rides on the edge all day long. A lot of sledders say they're fast, but this guy and a few of his buds ride extremely hard. They make me feel like a cruiser. Calvin, don't say it. I know...I'm an Onion.

What's with the 100% antifreeze? Were the '06 models from the factory so equipped? !00% antifreeze in addition to causing cooling problems also freezes at a higher temp than 50/50 or 40/60.

I think these guys are right, dilute your 100% factory antifreeze and the stock apex will be fine. Didn't believe it till it happened to me in wawa
