What Have You Done To Your Nytro Today ?

The ..... was it was my two buddies. The goof on the left/Polaris I think accidentally hit his kill switch and went left for some reason in a white condition. The apex behind him swerved to the right and stopped to see if he was alright and yell at him. They thought me and another guy were way back cause I stopped to clean my goggles a mile or so back and let the apex pass. There was so much snow blowing they said they never saw my headlight till I came through. Me I got very lucky cause the Polaris had his light off till the last second. Then all of a sudden it turned on and I cut it between them. Thinking it was an open left originally cause I only saw the light if the stopped apex through the snow. Either way I'm glad no one is hurt real bad and the insurance will give me more then I was going to sell it for and I can part it out still. If the Polaris rider wasn't my customers kid we would of had a lot more words then we did. $hit happens
Should of just stayed in Houghton for the night like I suggested, and wait out the storm. That trail was full of wrecks that night I heard.

Ahhhh that really sucks! Like you said #*$&@ happened especially with all the blowing snow they have been having up there and downed trees across the trails. Saw a lot of plastic parts along the side if the trails on 13/3.

When did this happen? I saw your sled in twin lakes two weekends ago out front of the hotel Friday night when we were heading to Houghton.

Yep happened Friday night about 7:30 about three miles north of Krupps. Two nice guys on vipers stopped to help. The funny part was my buddy said look what happened to my Polaris. The one guy on the viper said that is a shame but what about that poor Nytro lmao. Now debating if I should try to sell her whole as a great project sled or part her out.

That must of been the plastic I saw on the side if the trail then. Prob get more parting it but what a pain in the arse. What you getting next?

Well I broke 25,000km on my 2009 Nytro XTX yesterday.
That is truly awesome, can you give any insight to what you have changed out in parts for maintenance ?
I bring to my dealer every year for oil change and do a check up for any updates or service bulletins. Usually do donuts. Every year.
At 12,000 i pulled my skid and did all my bearings. Also re-valved my shocks.
17,000km installed new track and did drive bearings and cleaned clutches.
I should have done my shocks again at 21-22,000 km as I had my rear shock fading out on my last trip. I just had it re done and wow what I difference. My sled was starting to push in the corners, but when your shock fade it is so gradual you don't. Realize it till you get them re built.
This summer I am planning to redo all steering bushings and ball joints. Probably pull skid redo all bearings and do the my front and center shocks.

My Excell wheel kit arrived in the mail, picked up my marginal wheel kit at the dealer, ordered limiter straps, found a mint clear Trail tank online for cheap, waiting for an order of Mountaintech 38" a arms.

Installed a new center shock after mine self destructed. Trying a Fox Zero Pro and we'll see how it goes. Back on the trails tomorrow.

i'm working overtime instead of running my sled this year......only have 800km on so far....not happy.....paychecks make it easier to bare I guess :)

Installed new TrailTank tonight, also replaced plugs and installed copper donuts while I had it opened up. 6000km and the stock donuts were like new. Oh we'll hopefully the copper ones last a long time.
