I have Heel clicker II on my 03 shorty…
My setup:
Red primary spring 230-360 lbs
No weight added to HC
Silver Yamaha secondary spring…set @ 6-1 (70deg) stock helix (51-43)
Shift out 9900 – 10000 rpm
Engagement about 55-5600 rpm
Question: To try and get my rpm up to 10200-10400…that some guys recomend...Can I increase preload on my helix?
If so what degree should I try…..If I do tighten it up will it slow midrange acceleration, will it cause the belt and clutches to run hotter or cooler….
Thanks
JD

Your gonna need a lot more secondary twist
Lose the red spring & run the white primary.
Get the white secondary spring from an attak
Try about 4-5 grams heel & same in tip...white secondary at 60 degree wrap
Clutches will never run cool after back to back runs no matter what.
