What is the best air psi setting front fox floats 08 apex

I just adjusted mine. I found that about 55 psi seamed good. I also found that 55 psi with no pressure on the skis equals 67psi with the sled on the ground.

48-50 lbs on mine seem good, tried to go a little lower but sled interfered w/ ski clamps on tailer.

Yep well done shanksyyamaha... read this ... went out the the garage last night... i have mine adjusted so that with 1/4 fuel, weight of sled on ground shocks around 65psi... inthe air around 52psi. when i fill my tank up and put on the gear this set up seems to have my arms just about parallel to the ground...

whats the psi you run with rockerdan?

each sled can be slightly different PSI to achieve the best 'attitude' of the front end.

most of the time mine seems to end up around 38-42 PSI...but ive seen some sleds at 30 look parallel, and some with 45 look parallel....so i try to not use PSI as a general rule.

raise the front end slightly and start at 40psi,lower it and let it set for awhile(push up and down on front a few times)

see how she sets....add or remove air to get it parallel.

Dan

Exactly. What you have going on with your skid adjustments WILL have an affect on what it takes to level the arms. Level them, the heck with what the pressure guage says.
