jtsrx,
I assume you're talking about Paridise Michigan. We are talking about the temperature, not wind chill.

Hey Tundra! That's funny I was also Mont Valin also last WeekEnd. I have a Camp near the Relais Jalobert. If you see a Silver/Red Warrior with a Phantom Gauge Temp, it's me! Hope to meet you one day... My Warrior started fine at -20C last sunday!

cold soaked starting
It's currently -27C outside and my RX with regular 5W30 will start in about 2 seconds when I leave work today. I will switch to synthetic in a few days for the cold Jan.-Feb. weather. As long as you have reasonable octane levels it should start quickly (91). I really love my RX also.
When I had an RXL 650 I would break my back trying to start it at -50C (no windchill factor).

the Rx-1 is a masterpiece of engineering.
The fact that my sled start up with ease at this temp make me feel that i really made the right choice. And she sound so good...
Detractor can say anything about my Sled, because RX-1 is my sled like everyone of us, i will buy a another and a another, except if Yam do something similar with a taller windshield.
Saguenay is cold, mont-Valin is really cold and snowy. Winter, that why i live for.

i'm becoming sentimental
Hey Errol, nice to meet you, if you see a RX-1 mountain Silver/red on the Mont-Valin, it's probably me, i'm the only one Au saguenay with the 04 mountain Le. You have much more snow on Jalobert than where i was last week-end, only 12 inches or less. Jalobert, from what i seen, 3 feet or more last week-end. Is i'm correct ?

Dano, I think I know the guys you saw up in Longlac last year. Were they driving three different colored RX-1's. I remember you posting about it last winter, it was about the time that they were up there too. It was about that cold too. If it was those guys look for them again sometime this year, they should be up there sometime. This time they'll all three be sporting new M-10's. It should be a great year.
