I am buying an 07 rtx and I see some guys are running cr10ek spark plugs and I was wondering what you gain by running them?

Made by NGK it is the name of the plug. Supposebly runs a little cooler & suppose to give you 2-3 horses more.

10 is the next COLDER plug from NGK..all NGKs heat ranges go from low numbers(HOTTER) to hi numbers(COLDER)....
stock is a 9 and stock plug has only one electrode...the CR10ek has two electrodes...they burn more complete...and make a few HP on dyno...wont hurt anything and starts just as well in cold.

Definately 1 range cooler. According to my chart also uses 2 neg grounds over the standard single. I would be a little concerned running cooler. I fouled the hotter stock CR9EB. In all fairness though, this occurred during a cold start attempt, not on a warmed up engine. Gradually fouled one plug at a time until all were dead. Took out, cleaned up and kept as spares.
