What is the difference between the 08 & 12 suspension

I have a 2008 mtx and a 2012 mtx, I like the suspension in the 2012, the sled just feels a lot more nimble, I have found a 2010 mtx suspension at a good price will it just bolt up into the 08 and feel more like my 2012 mtx?
