Would like to know what is the actual world record for snow drag on 660 ft
ET and MPH.

cant find it.

thanks

OSP did a 4.42 at 156 this year. Don't know if that is his fastest.

seems like snow would be hard to judge. What is a snow track 3 inches of snow on ice. Or 2 feet in a field? Can there be a real record?

Yeah for sure, some races are a real hard packed track.. like the trail system, rock hard and some others like to leave the track loose... a real loose track will be very inconsistent.

I would re-formulate my question,

what is the quickest time you heard about on snow track in 660ft?

Legal world record holding
Grass 500ft
Asphalt 1/4 miles
Ice 660ft-1320ft-2000-ft
There is no legal event on snow i believe at this time.

The old forge is not a drag,, its a Mph event and complete full body.

If a nytro osp snow run 129, may be a outlaw osp run 135.-140

dont know that we we should be counting world records on snow as we all dont have the same conditions as snow varies so much !!

burkes osp nitro did run 129 plus and a low 5 at old forge this year. the fastest and quickest pass ever there !!! an amsnow record at old forge!

we plan on more snow and up hill snow drags next year it looks like lots of fun. not as quick as ice but still lots of fun !!

I agree on fun factor!

I did test at hilldrag a few weeks ago, was a lot of fun there

way more relax than outlaw ice Test n tuning

All sanctioned 660 races in Norway, Sweden and Finland is on hardpack snow. Best time is about 5.6 sec at 130 mph, hooking up on snow is very difficult to achieve. The 500 HP sleds are spinning out all the way to the end.... the fastest ones are only running like 330 HP and are hand made out of carbon fibre and weighs virtually nothing.
