I blew a pic on the outer side of my track leaving a 2-3" gap.
Guess I need a new track. What is the best one out there for some better flotation. I found the ripsaw to be weak in the powder. I want to run some pics up the center and am not a ditch banger. Just groomed trail, but I ride 2-3k miles a year. so what do you guys recommend?

Camoplast cobra, also, 136" track is a better way of getting this power to the ground...

Cobra for trail, no doubt. For ice, maybe a 1" so you can run shorter studs to keep the weight down and still get decent penetration.
hacksaw 1" with studs it hooks like a ripsaw but more durable and dosen't kill top speed.

The Cobra is a great track for powder and loose snow condtions, but it will hurt a bit on top end. Not alot, but it does by 2-3mph and slow down accleration after 100mph . You might not see if it you are not running studs, but when you run studs, you will see it slow down.

I would say if ride all trails, stay with the ripsaw. Nothing grips on the trails like the ripsaw.

I love the Cobra track as well. As mentioned above its great in loose snow and powder. I dont run "top end" all that much so I cant comment on loss of any top end or not. Some say it does...some say it doesnt.
