What jackets do you where on your apex's(low windy) that keeps you warm. I where a flame jacket and it's no where near warm when it's below 15 degrees, also have cold gear on !

I wear my HJC floater suit with the usual fleese and underwear and so far I have been good.

Clothing

Duofold long undies, reg socks Ranger rubber one piece insulated dancing boots, Hjc bibs and jacket sometimes a sweat shirt sometimes just long undies. I also wear a asno-cross helmet and goggles, never a full face closed shield. I rode in sub zero and I was all set and cozy sdtill. Ia lso wear leather olympia glives and would like hotter hand warmers at times but only cold for first ten minutes if cold sled and suz zero.

I hate to say it but if it gets below 12 deg F. then i have to wear my old ski doo jacket! I have a nice Yamaha racing jacket with the fleece liner but unless i put the high windshield on and it's below 12 or so then i get cold unless i ride hard. In case you haven't tried the tall windshield i will tell you this, it's a world of difference! much warmer.

Yamaha team 3/4 jacket with underarmor long sleeved shirt. If its around 0 degrees 1 sweatshirt and nice and toasty

FXR...

solidity of the gloves is doubtfull though..

looking at KLIM..

North Face XCR Goretex Jacket
EMS XCR Goretex Bibs

HJC Full face helmet
REI wind blocker balaclava
OR (Outdoor Research) windblocker fleece gloves
- only slightly cold on a -15F day with handwarmers on high and SKINZ handguards

2 Pair long underwear
100 weight campmor fleece pants (LOVE CAMPMOR)
Synthetic undershirt
Hot Tomalie Long Sleeve Shirt
100 weight campmor fleece zipped T

Tek-vest
Yamaha Team Boots (very similar to the HMK Boots)

Have yet to to be cold, in fact, usually sweating like a polar bear in the summer

Don't wear ANY cotton!!!! If you get wet (even just from sweating) and stuck out in the cold, COTTON WILL KILL YOU!!

I have a Klim Klimate jacket with Klim Freeride pants. Under the jacket I wear a Klim fleece vest, riding jersey, Cabelas long underwear, & Underarmour coldgear base. Under the pants I wear Klim fleece pants, Cabelas long underwear, & Underarmour coldgear base. I've ridden at -30 with this setup and have been fine. If it's above zero then I nix the long underwear and just go with the Underarmour. Helmet is HJC CL-12 with heated shield and Klim balaclava. I switched over to Klim gear from a Reima Warrior jacket and I really like the Klim stuff. The Warrior jacket was nice but the wind blocking ability of the Klim stuff is amazing. The freeride pants are not even insulated and they're way warmer than my old FXR team bibs due to the copious amount of Goretex.

I use Columbia titanium jacket and pants. mid layer is also Columbia titanium, base layer is wickers expedition weight Comfortrel. I bought all of this stuff back in 1995 and its still warm and waterproof as the day i bought it.
Ive been looking at the Yamaha endurance jacket and bibs and thinking about trying them out ;)!

I have the Yamaha Team Jacket and it is the worst Jacket I have ever owned. I have Skidoo and Polaris coats from previous sleds that are much warmer but I choose my 10 year old HJC coat if it is below 20 so I don't get ribbed by my skidoo/polaris riding buddies. My wife is really upset that she spent that much money on a coat for me for Christmas and I wear a 10 year old crappy jacket just to stay warm.

yes, the tall windshield will keep your hands warm! in fact i have to ride without a baclava (sp) when i have the tall windshield on. I use a skidoo modular helmet (5 yrs old)

Yamaha team team 3/4. For this past weekend, I put my original windy on and also added the 06 bars to my 07. What a difference a set of bars can make for -14.
