What oils other then Yamalube are you using for Apex gt? And oil filters?

There are a lot of threads on this if you can find them by searching. I personally use mobil one syn and wix or hasting filters.

FWIW, I am using Mobil-1 0W-40 European Formula full synthetic and a Hi-Flo filter. Been using that combo for many years without issue, plus it costs me less than half the price if I were to use Yamaha and a Yamaha filter.
