Hi just so everyone understands my request,i have a 270 hp tune, and am seeing 17.3-17.5 psi at wide open running, for say up to 1/2 mile run. So what are some of your numbers either on your speedometer cluster or pressure gauge.

Same tune on mine as yours. Max Spool 16 with 3 bar BOV and smm. I use to watch my boost all the time when I first got that new option through the tune, but now, I’ve only checked it once this season so far.
Last season it was between 16.9 and 17.5. Seemed like air temp/density or other stuff (revs)?)do make the diff.
This season the one day that I did peak at it a couple of times, it was 17.2 - 17.3

Yes dennis,we do have same set up,but i have not had anything longer than a very large field, and was seeing 17.5 on speedo cluster,i did not have a chance to check my pressure gauge,as it generally reads higher by 2psi.Same tune on mine as yours. Oh, so you have two boost gauges to look at, and your non cluster gauge reads 2 lbs more. So 19.5 on the gauge that you installed and mounted. Well I will say that it was a surprise when I first saw that amount on mine whereas the tune is called Max Spool 16 3 bar, so I was expecting to see what my firstMax Spool 16 2 bar tune would show, which was 15.9 - 16.1 ! Later learned that the stock 2 bar sensor could only read up to 16 or so, thus the cluster can only show what the sensor is reading.
Well Pete, I fully understand the problem with trying to read both at once while turning these things on. You need a big, wide, long and smooth run to do so. One of the reasons I don’t pay much attention to my boost readings. The medium size trails that I run are a real blast, but just looking at either the tach or speedo is enough for me. I mean, if I find a 1/2 mile stretch on fast conditions, 120 and over happens in seconds. Only time for one thing on most trails around here, and if this thing is pulling and holding revs, the boost is OK in my book.
But some county riding coming up will let me do 2 or 3 things at once huh? With their monster trails!!
Best riding time of year for me is now here.

Checked mine once and saw 17...haven’t checked again lol.
I find the less crap I check, the less I worry, and the more fun I have. If she feels strong and fast and is running great...that’s good enough for me lately.
Heading up to the county(Aroostook-sled is up there in trailer)) Thursday night. I’ll check the belt and see if all looks good, and then off we go.

Mine on 270 flashes 19.7 then drops to 12.7. Looking for a boost leak when I get a chance to tear into it this week.

I have Max spool 16 on 2 bar and have been up to 16.8 boost but lost a little since putting a TD header on, highest i have seen this year is 16.4 but its making more power. I had to add 2 grams of weight going to the header, my sled was clutched perfect with stock manifold and stock muffler 8800-8900 just changing to header i was up near rev limiter and took 2 grams to bring it back to 8900Oh, so you have two boost gauges to look at, and your non cluster gauge reads 2 lbs more. My stock 2 bar sensors would not read that high. 3 bar reads up to 18 or so accurately, next step would be the 4 bar for higher boost tunes I think you will find.
Some very interesting reading on here concerning adding headers, and why your boost readings go down but power goes up.

What track you have,studs
Stock Ripsaw 1.25" lug, with 180 1.450" Woody's Megabites, all singles, outside too (4 per row) with aluminum round backers. 2700 miles and all is good with them so far. I make sure I don't spin track on bad conditions..I found that alone makes a huge difference in how your studs last and wear.

I swear by megabites, 3rd year on mine and haven't bent one yet. Sharpen them up every offseason. The key is not spinning the track in rocks etc... like you mentioned.Stock Ripsaw 1.25" lug, with 180 1.450" Woody's Megabites, all singles, outside too (4 per row) with aluminum round backers. 2700 miles and all is good with them so far.
