on my sled I gained 6 mph on top end with pink at 6-1 vs yellow at 3-3 with 35 helix. I assumed the higher finish force of the yellow was holding me back up top since swapping to the pink helped me out on top and the pink is weaker. I didnt mark my sheaves to see the travel but with 24-50 gears I am guessing 116 speedo at 9000ish rpms I must of been near full shift? This is why I was puzzled a bit because as you mentioned the pink is known to bind. Do you have any ideas for springs that you have tested that may top end better than yellow but not bind. I like the feel of the yellow at 3-3 and may continue to use it for my type of riding and setup but cant help but be curious if theres a spring that would work as good through the shift and top end better with my setup. I did try the yellow at 2-3 and it felt the same as 3-3 for the most part but was unable to do a top speed run due to high sled traffic and I had to head home and get ready for work.
You need to test that yellow at 3-2 and report back. You may break a few records!! Lol

may have to start shutting down in the woods at beginning of march instead of end of march, this having to go in the woods crap is cutting into messing with snowmobile time! You need to test that yellow at 3-2 and report back. You may break a few records!! Lol
