What tail light will work on Apex MTX?

I need a tail light for my 07 Apex MTX SE.
There is no rack or tail light on it now.

I have heard the RX1 or 06 Nytro tail lights will fit on the back of the seat.
Is this true?

Will a short track tail light bolt right in to the back of my seat?

I like the look of a seat mounted light.

The stock light out of the mountain rack can be made to fit right on the back of your stock seat. OR Since its a mountain sled do what most of us do and dont run a light at all. We dont ride trails anyway. Eric

I do run trails trails though too. I don't have the stock rack and light available or I would surely use it.

You can always use a simple LED set-up and just wire it in to the factory wiring then mount anywhere you want. Eric

I've looked into them but they all seem too small and prone to getting snow covered.

I installed an LED tail lamp from a late model YFZ450 quad... this is on a RS seat, not sure how it would fit under the Apex style. No issues with snow covering it, very bright. Go over to ebay and search for "Yamaha tail light" and look through the selection of styles from various late model bikes and quads... something will work for ya.

I converted mine to the short track style tailight. Everything bolts/plugs right in. Looks good too. Got all my parts from South Seattle Sports Plaza.
