Alright gentleman. What to do with $1000?? I am bone stock with a 1" paddle and 192 1.175 Gold Diggers on an 03 ER (Blue of course). I am looking for several opinions as to the best $1000 setup. Things have been tight fiscally and I have to make this summers changes count!! Thanks in advance. Also how much are my Simmons skis slowing me down??

BBY posted this on another post so I will paste here. This kit will include his HH setup and the ECP filter kit. You would still have over $300 US leftover to buy, say an aftermarket exhaust. From what I have read about Matt's kit (I bought into the hype when HeelClicker clutch kits was the thing to have, so I don't have his kit) and me personally owning the ECP filter kit, this is WELL worth the coin!

I'd long track it to 136". Best bang for the dollar imo. If you do the labor yourself, find somebody that's longtracking further, you could probably pick up a good deal on their existing kit. You'd probaly have enough money left over for the filters and/or clutch from Matt. That's what I'm doing is probably spending my fun dollars with Speedshop/ECP.

I have a whole lot of goodies on my 03 that I am trading in this fall. Dealer won't give me much for them and said I could take them off if I wanted to. See my ad in the classified section for the add ons to my sled. Hell, I'll even give you change back from your $1000. PM me if you are interested, Roadrunner

I would also go 136 kit and a ripsaw track.HH's but just use your stock helix it will work great no need to pay $100 bucks for something you don't need.Quick nuts for the transfer rods.Save the rest for snowmobile trips next winter.Once this sled gets clutched and has good traction it flat out rips.

Depends on what your priorities are -
Ride?
HP?
Ergos?
Floatation?
Each guy that responds will tell you how they would spend it (their own priorities)
Based on you question about your Simmons skis - I'm assuming you are looking for $1000 toward performance???

I am looking for a better ride and more nuts!!!
Buy RXWARROIRS Expert X and invest in a set of heavy hitters. His expert is 136 but you could take the extensions off
I will have a Mtn Perf 136 tunnel extension avil later this summer for 30$ shipped. The only thing you will have to buy is bumper covers off a Mtn Maxx, as I re-located the crossover tube for better cooling. BTW this worked good.

Buy grapeapes 136 inch kit, get a ripsaw from thespeedshop1.com, remove the rivet in the heel of the stock weights, get Freddies kit and save the rest of the money for beer
