I picked up a high mile 2009 Apex LTX. It was well taken care of and I can see nothing wrong with it. I bought a used Vector of the same year for spare parts. I need to know what I should replace before it starts to snow more up north here.

I ordered;
Copper donuts
New hyfax
New fluids
two new belts and plugs
Does anyone sell clutch rebuild kits or do I need to piece one together with OEM parts.

I have KYB piggy backs and a spare mono from the vector, I want them rebuilt and revalved, who does good work with these shocks? How tall is the tallest Yamaha windshield? Or should I look aftermarket for the best windscreen.

Forgot to add, I plan to order all new bearings for the drive train when I order clutch parts.

Are the wheel bearings in the skid replaceable? I noticed a couple were missing seals.

Your best bet is to just read the "Sticky's" at the tops of each section, read the TY Tech section at the top of this page and do a search here or Google with anymore questions.

Any problems that arise, then ask as most will be eager to help. ;)!

All of the above and check the a- arms for slop may need a bush kit if they are bad. How many miles?? If it's the original driveshaft with around 10k it's living on borrowed time.

4800mi or so on it. Shocks are in need of lovin, who does good work with these.

AT 4800 I would look at all the stuff mentioned but mine required very little for the first 10k miles then did all bearings with donuts and track and is still a cool fast reliable sled.

Curious... with only 4,800, why are you rebuilding the clutch?
Rollers have rust, looked dirty, I usually change all drive springs on my sleds yearly.

My donuts werent even close to being bad at 5k I thought you had many more miles. Pioneer did a fantastic job on my shocks if you want to spend more $$ go to Hygear.

i went thru donuts on my 07 every 3500 miles.

Most original skid wheels had non-replaceable bearings, not sure if or when that changed.

That Vector engine you have would be a great Rhino side x side upgrade! hmmmm

Same year sled here that I just got. Same surface rust on rollers? Wonder why cause I never seen that on my SRX. I put silicone spray on them but they turn easily regardless. Does it affect performance?
