2011 Apex 6000 Miles tune up

Your donuts are under warranty and will only be changed if your dealer detects and issue/leak. The chain should last a lot longer than 6000 miles. The speedo bearing (if it's been greased) should last at least another season. However, of the three, that's the one I'd change if it hasn't been greased. It's pretty easy to do.

Your right, i have warrenty till Nov 2013....so the hell with it..lol

Hey guys,

Got a mint Apex with 6000 miles, I'm going to change the track to a new ICE ATTACK XT...while im in there what else should I do???

I'm thinking:

-Copper Donuts
-Dive Chain
-Speedo Bearing

Anything else I should do??? Plugs?? ?Clutch spings??? comments appreciated
Thanks D

I would put new driveshaft left bearing, pop seal off left jackshaft bearing and repack with grease. I would put new bushings in rear skid while there and all new bogie wheel bearings. Chances are the pucks in rear clutch are pretty worn and should be replaced at this time. If not under warranty definitely change donuts.

Next service interval should be at 12000 miles where you will change all bearings and bushings in skid again along with both bearings on jackshaft and driveshaft along with chain in case.

When the family and I were riding 12-13 thousand miles a year, servicing my sleds at these 6000 mile intervals seemed to work best. Just my opinion....hope this helps.
