Mike, the 9836 is a softer compound than the 9834, otherwise they are identical. Also the 9836 is being discontinued. A softer track will stick better on glare Ice and hard pack. If you are looking for a every 3 window closed, then the 9819 is the choice. If you need a fully cliped, the 9834 is the exact same track as the 19 except for the clips.

Pricing is:

9834 = $439 shipping included in US.
9819 = $424 shipping included in US.

Best of luck with your decision...BBY

BBY what is the advantages and disadvantages to a hard or soft track. Is one better to stud does one last longer than the other. What are your thoughts on the Ripsaw.

pullinfront, A softer track will stick better on hard surfaces than a harder track. A harder track should outlast a softer one and studding wise there really isnt any difference. I really cant comment on the Ripsaw seeing as it hasnt seen the snow yet, however I am impressed with its profile and it looks like it will hook up well...BBY

BBY I roadraced motorcylces for years, the tires hard different componds (softer to harder) for different tracks and tracks or track conditions. Sound like the same for tracks, just alittle harder to change for the conditions of the day. The trick is to find a good all around track for where and how you ride.

Thanks for the info
Pullinfront :)

I put the Camoplast 9833 1.25" track on my sled. It's basically the 121 version of the 9834. Mine is also fully clipped and I have the Extrovert Drivers installed. This is my first time riding a 1.25" track and I absolutely love it. I broke trail through 1.5-2 feet of snow for about 30 miles...it worked great! Try that with the stock POS that came with it... :evil: This is also the first time in 6 years that I have not studded my machine. You will like the 9834...but you can always give Camoplast a call and they can tell you where to find a Ripsaw... :idea:

I can get you a ripsaw if interested. I think they will be a good track, but for now its just opinion. I cant imagine any weak points about it. The only thing is the 9834 is prooven. If I were buying, I think Id take a chance on the Ripsaw...BBY
