My buddy drives a 08 apex ltx and on the last ride he lost 4 idler wheels and the other 2 the rubber all fell off. Also the caps at the end of the rails fell off. This was with in 200 miles. Then we found a guy to fix it. Replaced all 6 wheels and within 100 miles one wheel fell off again. All other wheels are still one right know but what could be the problem?

Vibration, check track alignment, all nuts and bolts are there. Are there washers on the wheels. Or alot of heat.

dylanjen9 do you mean the caps at the front of the rails?
If yes those are riveted on cant see how you can loose both that quickly
How tight is the track?

Studs... check all your studs.. if they are loosening up this will cause these to fail... been there, done that!

yes both caps on rails are missing. The track does look loose but does not rachet

Wouldn't be riding with the end caps missing on the rails. Seen more than one track get cut off the machine by that.

The 08 where bad for this it was best to take out the rivet an replace with a bolt also fill the cap with silicone before putting on.

If the track was to loose would it take out idler wheels?

X-2 on the locktite..........I found the wheels on the left turning forward causes the nut to loosen up....................They turn c--clockwise... I've always thought about putting left handed bolts on that side so they screw them selves back on............ MM.cannondale27 said:Was everything Loctited and torqued?

The idler wheels don't last for ever ....need to check and replace as needed.......as far as the track being lose that wont hurt the wheels but it will hit the end caps and pull them off

idler wheels dont last forever? 15,450km's on 2008 vector with all original idlers, skid has been out once and that was for track change at 9500 km, and at that time the speedo bearing was the only bearing replaced. we run 1.5 inch ripsaws with 1 inch of free sag running extrovert drivers. all the wheels look flawless, got a bit of bearing slop, but their not rebuildable so when they fall off, they fall off haha
