Whats the biggest track I can put on my XTX with the stock pitch drivers?
No snow here so I guess I got to drive to the mountains to find it. Can I fit a 2" or bigger? Someone is selling an ac track. Looks to be 2" or 2.25". Not sure if it is any good or not as the guy has to get back to me.

A 2" will clear, but just. I chose 1.75 to have some clearance.

X2. I put a 1.75" on mine, and a 2" might fit on there, but man, it would be tight.

2" fits no problem. If you can find one that is notched from the factory, it goes in without a single problem. Otherwise of course you have to remove your tunnel protectors, or notch the track yourself.

What size drivers would be needed for a 2.25 in track?

I ran a 2" for half of last year with stock drivers. Bought the track used, and cheap, and in bad condition. Bought a brand new Camo Challenger this year, went with 9T Wahl Bros, had to trim the rails for clearance of the drivers. I'd personally go with 8T next time, as i was un-educated about the 'Rail Trimming.' But, sounds like you're in the same boat as I was last season. Whack the protectors off, leave the stock drivers on, and giver hell!

Stock is 9T 2.52 , the MTX is 7T 3.0 pitch with the 2.25 maverick pos.
So stock XTX is 22.68 around, MTX stock is 21, so you are gaining.
~3.6 radius XTX 9T 2.52
~3.34 radius MTX 7T 3.00
~3.2 radius for 8T 2.52 drivers, so I would say you want 8T 2.52 to have enough clearance.
What is the pitch of the track you are lookin at?

144" tracks are 2.52" pitch
146" tracks are 2.86" pitch
For 3.00" pitch the choices are 153" and "I think" Cat has a 3.00" pitch track in a 141". I know that 141" were aviliable in a 2.52" pitch.

With a 2.25" track you would need to go with a 8 tooth 2.52" or 7 tooth 3.00" driver.
