looking for wheel size & suggestions as which wheel off what other sled works best , just picked up new yamaha graphite sliders, got 500km on first set, looking to increase size of rear ones, that seams to be the worst wear spot. any help would be appreciated, have a new 06 mtn apex. put hyperfax on my mtn vector seems to work 162 hyper not avalible thats why the yamaha replacement.

Here is a Pic of the additional wheels installed on My Apex,One set installed between the limiting strap and front shock, the other Right in the middle and last hole. This seem to have taken care of the problem, although I have only put 300 miles on it this year,The front wheel kit I bought from a Yamaha Dealer in Bryon MN, the middle wheel kit is the same Parts #s as the rear wheels and hardware, I just reverse them to fit inside the rails.

I find the worst wear spot at the rear idler wheels if you think about it buy increasing the wheel size , should take load of hyfax, awhile back someone in one of these sites did this . the stock wheel just spins easily when sled is sitting on floor.

Here's what I did on my Apex ER:

I just came back from Jackson, Wy. and put on 700 miles. The slides still look like new. I also added SLP pads to the closed widows. I have my track set loose. With the sled track off the ground I have 1" of space between the bottom of the slide and the top of the track. This setting is with no weight or pressure added to the track. I don't have a mountain sled. My track is 121".
