My oil was changed at 500 miles but when do you usually change it. I was told to change it in the spring so it had fresh oil in it and didnt have the deposits and moisture from a season of running in it all summer. But then if you do that then when the riding season comes around you are running a machine at 10,000+rpm's on old oil. I think for the price of oil I will change it when spring comes and change it again in the fall for the riding season. idk?? :o| :drink:

I use full Synthetic and I change it once a year in the spring!
You can do this with synthetic oil because it does not break down as rapidly as petoleum oil ;)!

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I will try that. idk Its good to go for now but I just wondered...

I change my oil mid-season (two days ago) and in the spring.

Not sure why you want to change it in the spring and then again in the fall. Your not riding in the summer and six months of oil sitting in the engine won't make it old or bad.
