Why did they take the idler wheels away on outside. I see only 1 per side why?

If you are talking about the 137's that's how they are. They have 4 inside 2 out total=6. The 129's have 4 out and 2 in (used to only have 2 out) total=6

How come they don't put the wheels where most of the damage occurs on the hifax.
Sorry, not much of an AC guy but have not Cat skids been almost wheelless for years?

Procross chassis is not known for excessive hyfax wear. You will get some right where rails/hyfax bend upward towards the front. But once they wear in they do NOT wear much more.

This is what I have been running for my last pro cross chassis sled. These are VERY good slides. Last forever. Little pricey but the last set you will put on unless your running dirt and rocks ALOT

If you run scratchers when in bare ice there is nothing to worry about. I have 4k miles on my Viper and am changing the slides for the first time.

Cant be as bad as my nytro. I have to put new slides on every year and that's with running scratchers down all the time. This year I put bigger wheels on so we will see if thats helps. If it ever snows!

Why not buy the dupont slides for that price?
I can't speak for the Whal slides, but I had the DuPont ones on my Apex which was horrible on hyfax. The stockers wore out every 600 miles. Had 3000 miles on them when I sold it and still looked great. Not sure I'll need them for all he SW but will see.
