I'm no expert but that looks like a chaincase gear.

Speedo gear left side on the end of the main shaft.

Nice catch,I looked at it again after you posted that, my bad it is too small for a chain case gear.

Got it all put back together and ripped around the yard. Parked it. Geared up. Started it. Flashing fault code 84 now. Any suggestions? Speedo gear installed wrong??????? Loved the new track by the way.
