rindtj.....any dual keel design ski will push in a corner.Just the way it is.But the C,A Razor,XTX,XT,Outlaw also have outside keels along with the center keel.So you get the straight tracking plus rail in the corners.Hope that helps ?

Mr. Rich:
When ur working tomorrow and get a chance, will you pm a quote for both: White skis with black handles, both for the XT's and XTX's, along with mounting hardware for my Attak, new rubbers if they don't come with those, and 7.5" shaper Bars shipped to Duluth, MN 55811? I am on the fence about which to go with, the XT's or XTX's. Your reviews of your XT's have me leaning that way now....
Thx dude!

Since day one I have had outlaws on my 06 apex
with 7.5 stud boy shapers. Many of my friends have
the same and if you are an aggressive rider these
things rail. Floatation is ok. My son has the xtx on his
nytro and they work great too. If you mostly trail ride
I would go with the outlaws.

I checked out the MTX's. They only have an 1/2 inch tall keel, and are only 3/4 of an inch wider than the XT's/ XTX's. So in my estimation I'd be better to go with the taller keel because I want a ski that will also corner like a slot car and not push, but with great flotation. Yes, I want the perfect ski. Right now I think it's a set of white XT's....

The XT,XTX will provide all the flotation you need. And they have larger outside keels for straight tracking.Heres some prices below, both models are same price actually.
white skis,loops=$450
7.5" shaper=$80
mount kit=$35
shipping=FREE
On a side not i would not recommend the Outlaws because they are the C,A oddball and use different carbides, loops. So finding parts are hard to find unless you buy direct from C,A or stocking dealer for outlaws. They were basically a XT model but 6" wide and shorter.

Rich,
Do the outlaws with the different carbides have different host bars so they are not exposed in the front like the other c and a skis? How do they handle compared to the razors, I don't want any wider than 6 inches so the XT and XTX aren't in the running..

Not sure what you mean by exposed but they are a shorter bar. They are more aggressive then the Razors because the center keel is twice as deep but less aggressive then the XT.

Don't want to start anything just telling you what they are telling me,
I have asked people on the trail about C&A, riding any sled and they have told me that they dart,
I have nothing to say about C&A skis because i have never tried them, i was going to try them in till they told me about the darting..

I meant are the ends of the bars bent up into the ski, so the end of the host bar isn't exposed? Sorry it is tough to explain.
I have also heard they can dart in some conditions...I will take the shimming and some minor darting and have point and shoot steering over push any day...
