ok..........is the upgrade worth it or better waiting till the stockers wear out?

the upgrades are worth it. you could probably just purchase the triple 6 for the inside, that way you would have an extra pair of the 4 inch.
JWL600CC.......I'm running SLP skis and 8" Woody's Doolys and the combo works great. The stock skis provide zero float. If all you do is trail riding, then, the stock skis are fine. However, in the steep and deep, the stock skis go down faster than a nuclear submarine.

now i'm confused...i spoke to a guy this winter who does high mileage here in Quebec and seems to have a deep understanding of the RX-1..he said the stock skis are poor even for trail riding.....he had Simmons on his...said it reduced darting on the trails to almost nothing..he let me take it for a few miles and it seemed to corner well......i just want to find the best all around trail ski for the RX-1.....i've read good reviews on the SLP skis as well.

The SLP Powder Pros are also a very good ski.

Any body put the Mt RX1 skis on there regular RX1's?
I know a guy that has property in the upper UP and he did this with his Apex with good resaults.
